FRANCIS: International Humanities and Social Sciences
The FRANCIS database is recognized for its international scholarly coverage of wideranging topics in the humanities and social sciences. Its millions of authoritative bibliographic citations are a boon to modern interdisciplinary research, teaching and scholarship. Produced by the highly regarded Institut de l’Information Scientifique et Technique du Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, FRANCIS indexes multilingual information published in over 4,300 journals and provides abstracts for 80 percent of its 2 million records.

Die IBZ ist die traditionsreiche, seit 1896 erscheinende, internationale, interdisziplinäre, vornehmlich die Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften berücksichtigende Bibliographie zur wissen­schaftlichen Zeitschriftenliteratur. Die IBZ-ONLINE weist über 2.956.240 Zeitschriften­aufsätze aus ca. 11.381 Zeitschriften der Jahre 1983ff nach. Jährlich kommen über 120.000 Eintragungen mit systematischer Sacherschließung hinzu.

The MLA International Bibliography provides a classified listing and subject index for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Office of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. Available in print and in several electronic versions, the MLA International Bibliography annually indexes over 66,000 books and articles. Coverage begins with 1926.
